About Me: It's fun to know our members a little bit.
Kristen & Shana, a.k.a. the Furry Godmothers. Since 2003 Furry Godmothers have been providing a great alternative to doggie daycare for dogs who are experienced off-leash and need more thorough exercise than their busy parents can provide during the week. Our off-leash group day hikes on privately-owned forestland include home pick up and drop off, plus a meticulous rinse and dry. Our current service areas are close-in SW Portland and the Pearl District.

I saw your service listed somewhere on the web and was wishing I lived in the Pearl District so I could take advantage of it for Atlas. It's such a great idea! By the way, if you happen to know of anyone who does something similar in the west suburbs (Hillsboro), I'd love a referral! And who knows .. maybe someday we'll move further in. :-)

Thanks it is interesting and fun. Most people don't realize how strengthening their dogs weaker muscles can improve their performance whether it be a run in the woods, flyball, agility or just chasing a ball in the backyard. Improving a dogs reflexes and balance is so important and if you can improve your bond with your dog along the way, that makes it even better.
