- About Me: It's fun to know our members a little bit.
- I'm an avid dog lover, rescuer of mutts, and the Marketing Director at the World Forestry Center in Portland's Washington Park.
- What Kind of Dog(s) Do You Have? What are their name(s)? It's nice to know.
- Lab Chow Mix. His name is Bodie. He's 15 years old now and lost his site 2 years ago. He's amazing. He gets around very well (as long as we don't move furniture) and still has spunk, sparkle and pizzaz.
I recently had to euthenize my other two. A lovable greyhound named Dylan and a pitt mix named Brandy. They are together now running and playing which comforts me.
- Why Did You Join This Network? This helps us meet needs and understand expectations.
- Because first and foremost, I'm a dog person. And secondly, to tell everyone about a new exhibit that is coming September 28 - Jan 4.2009 to the World Forestry Center called Wolf to Woof: The Story of Dogs. Also, Doggie Palooza on October 19. " A Pet Fair and Celebration of All Things Dog."

I was wondering about Dog Palooza - I know it is early but I was interested in finding out about the event. Do you have any info yet? Kellee
This looks to be a great exhibit, I can't wait to see it! I'll share the information with my dog clubs, I'm sure others would want to know about it. In fact, I will be chairing our "exhibit"/info booth at the AKC Educational Match June 14th at the Washington County Fairgrounds, in conjunction with a fun match, and would be happy to share information at our table - our there any hand-outs?!?

I love Bodie's photo! He's super cute! Thanks for telling everyone about the events coming up... I think I would really like to check out that Wolf to Woof exhibit, as well as Doggie Palooza :) I'm glad I checked your page!

Sorry for the loss of Dylan and Brandy. I love to think of my dogs who have passed on playing away in doggie paradise too! I totally believe we will all be reunited as a big pack one day!
