I own Dining for Dogs, which specializes in cooking meals, snacks, and desserts for dogs.

Our human doctors should learn from our vets!

Last Friday night my GSD, Naaki, came down with a fever and refused to eat.... I kept a close eye on her and stressed out all night. At some point it finally dawned on me to check under her tail... yep, swollen glands! Arg, how'd I miss that??? Eight a.m. Saturday morning finally rolled around and I called our vet. We've had experiences with several other practitioners at the office, all of which were pleasant as well. I love Dr. Liz because she gives you all of the information that you need in order to make your OWN decision about what is best for you and your family. I LOVE that :) For example, I'm not pro- or anti- vaccine. I understand that sometimes vaccines are an ok thing, sometimes (particularly if we do HUGE numbers of them at one time) it's not the best idea! So Dr. Liz helped us figure out for our family what the best answer was, we're just taking it slow with the vaccines, and cutting out some that aren't more "necessary."
Okay, so that was a little more than answering your question, but I can't help it sometimes! I want people to understand WHY I love and recommend someone/something :)

As a mini pin parent, they all have a special place in my heart- and I met Rocky, he is a terrific little dog- very sweet, especially for the sometimes sassy min pin..
