recommendation: The Other End of the Leash by Patricia McConnell

if you have ever had any questions about why your dog behaves the way he/she does, this book is fantastic. my dog was pretty high spirited when he was a puppy (still is!), and we went looking for ways to train him. The Other End of the Leash made me understand dogs better, and helped me figure out what would work for us.
