OMG. I am dying to know everything about the Pet Fair this weekend? Does anyone have pics. I was bogged down with a million fabulous boarding dogs at both stores so I could not swing by. What were the guest speakers like?
Thanks
Sunday
I, unfortunately, didn't get a chance to see any of the speakers but Alfie and I went late in the afternoon on Saturday. We had a lot of fun and met a ton of cool people and other dogs! We tested Alfie's running speed at the SynLawn demonstration and he runs 17 mph which is pretty darn fast for a little guy like him. I also had his photo taken at one booth and we entered a lot of raffles. Overall it was great. We loved watching the dock diving dogs. They were amazing! I'll definitely go again next year. :)
Loads of Am Staffs, Pits, Bulldogs, and lots of Leonbergers too (like the last couple of years). Lots of Chihuahuas, Labs, Bostons. I was really interested in the increase in the number of Bulldogs though (although maybe there were a lot because of the Bulldog rescue group, not just John Q. Public).
There were 38 fewer vendors this year than last (according to one Pet Fair "official") and the crowds seemed lighter, although it was still a good event (all things being relative).
Bulldog rescue? Is that the same mom/daughter rescue with the Frenchies? Cool gals, met them last year. They were my faves next to Carol's Hearding/ Sheep thing. Was there a lot of big corporate booths there? Like phone companies and stuff?. I always ask not to be by them. Oh, also was the cremation guys there?
