Eeek!

Right before time to get up this morning I woke up from a nightmare. I was cooking and Pixie was, as usual, under my feet. I cut up some hot dog for him to occupy him and when i turned my back I heard him breathing oddly- he was choking! I tried to Heimlich him but it was not helping and he was struggling to get away and I could not get my fingers far enough down his throat, just as I was going to poke a hole in his windpipe I woke up!
Gads! What a horrible dream! It seemed SO real. Luckily, since kidlet is at Nana's he was right by my feet so his day started with a huge hug from a very relieved mom. He was confused but happy for the extra cuddles.
Yiminy!
I may have to do some Heimlich and tracheotomy research today just to set my mind at ease....
