Cedar Ann Red Dog MB-CD, MB-RA
10 year old Husky mix
She chose me! She was at my shelter under bite quarantine. She had bitten the transient that claimed to be her owner--in her defense, witnesses saw him beating her with a stick. She was snarling at everyone in her kennel but when I approached and said "hey pretty girl", she stopped, and stepped aside as if to invite me into her kennel--I went in and she cat rubbed against my leg and the rest is history!

She was also a stray at my shelter. She was about 1 year old and the most quiet and unassuming dog there. I took her to Pet Fair and she quietly sniffed dogs of all sizes and quietly took in the whole Fair. When the pet psychic said all she wanted was a home that would give her lots of love, I cried like a baby and adopted her the next day!

Came in as a stray to my shelter but had a microchip. The original owner lived in Virginia and was going to pay to air cargo her home. But it was too cold for her to land anywhere back east so I fostered her through the winter. By the time spring came, I was in love and the owner in Virginia let me keep her!! She is a the youngest and makes me appreciate my more mature dogs!!
