Next time she is afraid push her away and ignore her fearfulness. A dog's psyche is different than ours. Parent dogs ignore their pups fear. When a human comforts a dog while it is in a fearful state you nurture the fear.

At 7:46pm on August 24, 2009, missy, ace and duke said…: thank you! he is a doll! i am glad he found me too!! :) he arrived last night and as i said he is already settled as if he has been there his whole life! the poor lil think does not know what to do with toys! angel and ariel will teach him well :) i did not know what to expect from him as far as his socialization with other dogs, but as i said he loves the girls and they love him! i noticed you are having some issues with lil lucinda..... any progress? i am at a loss with what to say there..... the only thing that comes to my mind is ceasar millan :) i do not know of any communicators in this area.
