The wonderful photo you see of me holding my dogs was taken by Shane Young. He's the incredible talent who takes the photos of Zelda the Bulldog (www.zeldawisdom.com). I have had so many compliments on the great photo I wanted to make sure you all knew where it came from!
Hi Deborah - I always look forward to reading your column in Tuesday's Oregonian. I like the variety of articles that you write, enjoy thema all.
Thanks you
Helena
and Billy, of course
Hi Deb,
On behalf of all of us at pdxdog.com thanks so much for judging our Pet Parade and coming to the Riverfest Event with Pogo. It was great to see you.
Andrea
I enjoyed meeting you in person at the riverfest. Alway go right to your colum on Tuesdays. We now have an ad on the pdxdog front page and it links right to our website. I did google and found several oregon dog rescue groups and one was ours.
there is also some information on the group 'in the news' about Oregon Dog Rescue as well. There have been several write ups by the Tualatin Valley times, the Beaverton Times and the LO review.
Will check out your blog as well.
Barbara and Ruby
Thanks so much for the kind words! I love the fact that The Oregonian takes pets so seriously and gives me the space to actually give substantive information. I'm continuing some of this issue on my blog for the next couple of days, which you can see at The Oregonian's online presence -- go to www.oregonlive.com/pets and click on Deb Wood's pets blog to see it.
What a great article you did today! Always enjoy them, but today I sent out your column! "Turn 'can I pet your dog?' into a positive, not a surprise attack" is the kind of info the public needs to be hearing. Thank you Deb!
Hi Deborah-I read your column every week! I want to thank you again for your write up on Go Fetch-it is going great and I am expanding by adding a Seattle book this Fall!

We are going to move from Germany, Europe to Portland, Oregon in August 2011 and I would like to be prepared for the new rules and regulations.
In Germany, it is allowed to take dogs for a walk off the leash in several places. For example forests (a…
