I live near Mt Tabor and there are many, many coyotes. I have 3 big dogs though and one coyote alone is no match for my dogs. Coyotes though, when in packs are very dangerous. My friends aussie was attacked by three of them a week ago in NW portland…

- welcome. tell us a bit about yourself.
- I've been in Portland for two years and I adopted Theo on June 8, 2009. I haven't owned a dog since my childhood-- so this has been an adventure.
- introduce your pets, we love to know and see them
- Shih Tzu named Theo. He turned one on October 22, 2009. I adopted Theo when he was 7.5 months old, and I'm his second mommy (not counting the breeder). We've overcome some challenges in the short time we've been family-- stranger anxiety, separation anxiety, and socialization with other dogs. Theo is a healthy dog that loves everyone-- people, canine, and feline alike. He enjoys going to doggie daycare, my work office, and dog parks. He's a curious guy who loves to watch people and other dogs on our daily walks, and will do anything for a belly rub. He's also my snuggle bug-- curling up right next to me when we go to bed. Imagine this guy "chillin'" in your lap, looking like his cute self... it is truly priceless.
