pdxdog™.com was started in 2007 and launched in 2008 by Andrea Schneider. It is part of a larger entity, pdxdog™. llc, a company with related interests in social networking, product development and Web 2.0. It is simple. Andrea loves dogs, dog lovers love dogs and love meeting each other. A recent pdxdog™.com survey indicates 70% of our members join to network, find things to do with their dogs and meet other people. Not everyone who visits pdxdog™.com becomes a member. We get many thousands of visitors from over 100 countries every month. We've achieved a web ranking of 95 out of 100, with over two million views since we've started. That's pretty good, since it is all word of mouth.
