Hi Yorkie Parents!
My Bennie has a beautiful, new Sherpa Original Bag Deluxe Carrier that complies with airline standards and will house up to an 8 lb doggie or kitty. The problem is he's been in it ONCE for about 1/2 hour before he made sounds we've never heard come out of his little self! Surely we were punishing/torturing him! The carrier has been just sitting in storage ever since, and now I've decided to sell it. I paid $59 and will let it go for $39 + shipping costs. I can be reached at 503-842-0254, cell. How often do you bathe your Yorkie? My long haired Yorkie is groomed every 3 weeks -- I've found the clipped Yorkie needs a bath every 2-3 weeks. Have you found that they feel better about themselves when they are clean?

I'm always on the lookout for a Yorkie/Yorkie Mix, female at least a year old--can't do the house training thing again! If any of you come across a lead could you let me know?

Oh whoops I should have mentioned that playgroup at LexiDog is at their Pearl location :) I always forget there are more than one because that's the one closest to me.

Well, there is an indoor play group every Sunday at LexiDog for little dogs. They have one for dogs under 12 lbs and then one for dogs under 30 lbs. It's not cement, but not grass or dirt either. We go there occasionally on Sundays but since the weather is so nice lately we usually try to stay outside. When we do go to LexiDog play group I always make it a point to walk Alfie down to Cupcake Jones for a doggy cupcake. He loves them and I even had them make special doggy cupcakes for his birthday party. :) Ok I am rambling now...

Sorry for the late response. KT is a prissy little city dog. If she get a leaf on her she freaks out. It's probably because she has long hair. Anyway, her idea of a good time is a walk on cement where there are no leaves or stickers. Fergie is 15 and lame and almost blind (she used to hike up Dog Mountain - she's the opposite of KT). So, if there is a meet up on cement, we'd be interested.
