Welcome!

Welcome to the Fun Group! I hope this will provoke members to have a little bit of extra fun with your pups. If you have any contests or events that you know are coming up, don't be afraid to speak up! I will be posting a few contests that I know of to start out with and I hope you will consider trying them out. Sometimes you can win really cool stuff, and sometimes you just get bragging rights -- but either way, it's totally fun! And it's a great way to start out! Maybe looking through some contest photos will trigger your own creativity with your dog... you just never know!

Speaking from my own experience, Parker, the golden retriever, has won 2 WorldWide Fido crowns, was featured on The Daily Puppy, won a fabulous stretched canvas photo, was on the big screen in NY's Times Square, won the 2009 Canine for Clean Water... just to name a few. We've had SUCH a blast in all the events we do. I would LOVE to see some fellow PDXers join in on this kind of stuff! And BRAG!! Show off your stuff -- let's see those winning photos, videos... tell us what you've accomplished!
