Hi Everyone....I am trying to get the word out about a great drive that we are doing for FIDO on Christmas Eve....visit www.mtcrumpitrun.com

For you business owners, its a great chance to give your clients an easy way to donate to a worthy cause, and its a great way for you to network with other dog related businesses who are all in it for the love. Last year we got several great write ups, and the Oregonian has promised their support. This gives us all the chance to do good, while getting your business name associated with this kind of work. Its simple: Either send your clients to the web page or have them bring items to you through the month of December. ANYTHING, new or used, small or ???
is appreciated. Then there is a convoy to the shelter on the morning of December 24th. We have simple refreshments, and lots of hugs. Its an amazing way to spend the start of the holiday. If you are unable to bring your items to the shelter, simply drop me a line and I will pick the items up. The web site is not affiliated in anyway with my business , and I am hoping we can all join together for this one. And any of you who has any experience in this kind of thing at all, I would welcome advice.... Thank you so much in advance for your help

750,000. Less people are traveling this year. I still have room for boarding. Has anyone else felt the "lack of travelers" this year? My stores just feel like an extra busy summer weekend. Normally we start turning away big dogs at least one week prior. A few of my regular (every 4 week) groom dogs have been spreading out their grooms to every 3 months. We do our regular "customer service" calls and that seems to be the norm. "Money is tight" or "we don't know what's going on with the economy" "so we're spreading things out", tends to be the response for grooming, training and daycare.

Hey guys my Burnside store still has room for boarding! Let me know how I can help your business! I can hand out your stuff, we get a lot of foot traffic and I am still waiting for the pdxdog cards! I have told so many of my customers about this awesome resource and I see that about 15 have joined thus far! Keep up the good work Andrea. Thank you Whitney for this part of the pdx dog. It's a great way for business to support each other in these rough times!

We can talk about web presence, that's important, but I was thinking of social media-> blogging, twitter, etc.

Love my web site, love my designer and his wife is a genius! I am so grateful everyday for such great people. It was expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for and so far it was worth every hard earned penny!

Good idea since so much business is web-driven. There are a number of talented members, in web-related work, that would probably love to participate and share good ideas!
I bet a lot of people would come to this meeting. Count me in.

I would love to join you guys and find out more about growing your business over the internet. Would anybody be interested in meeting on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon over coffee? I'm just asking because I live down in Albany and evening meetings would be hard for me. Just a suggestion, if it ever happens, I would love to join in.
