The cages required for airline boarding have about 15 zip ties on them. Part of the airline security guidelines. That means the dog would have to be cut out of the kennel to be let out. Maybe there was something wrong with the dog and the airport employee was trying to help? I do airport transportation pu and drop off all the time and these dogs/cats are so secure in there that usually it takes about 10 minutes for me to cut them out of their enclosures to take them out. Strange.

If you know anyone that has lost a dog in the last 48 hours or less. I can help. No strings attached. Just want to help. Animal control is packed and I would it mortifies me when dogs get "missed".

Did anyone see the story on KGW about the dog named BEAR that got out of his kennel at PDX and has been missing for 2 days now?? I see that the owner has posted on Craigslist today..I can't believe an airline employee would open a kennel door and let a dog get out on the tarmac! That's just so sad :(

Apparently there is a missing weim named Cinder in Lake Oswego. I saw their posting on Craigslist this morning - and then again on my weim list.

There is a cat in my neighborhood named (west moreland/sellwood) "Pixle" who is missing... I know this is a site for dogs, but I just couldn't help it.
This is a great idea :)

This is a SUPER idea! So good, I am surprised we (pdxdog group)
