Sunday...I would be happy to come out in Jan or Feb. We can talk more about it after the holidays.

Cindy...I'm so sorry. Even though it's common for this to happen when you're "trying", that doesn't make it any less painful. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed for you. I'll look forward to meeting you and your husband in Jan or Feb. :-)

Unfortunately we are back to trying again. We lost the baby a couple of weeks ago. It was still really early and the doctor says we will be to try again soon.
Given all of that, I think my husband and I would still be willing to take the class in January or February even if we haven't gotten pregnant by then.

What a great idea!! My husband and I are hoping to add a little human to our family soon. We have two dog children and I want to make sure that they make the transition easily. I will be sure to contact you when we are "expecting".

I love this idea! I see so many ads online with people giving up their dogs because a new baby is coming... :(
Lets get the word out and hopefully keep at least some dogs with their families!

Hi Andrea!

The program has been around for several years and has been featured on several TV and radio stations across the country. However, it is new to Oregon as I am the only Licenced Presenter in the state.

The program has two main goals. One is to educate new parents about how to safely live with dogs and children. I am often shocked at some of the videos and pictures I see online that look really cute to the average person, but are potential disasters to the trained eye. The Dogs & Storks program helps owners to become more aware of these potential dangers by teaching them about dog language, basic manners to teach your dog before baby arrives and safety precautions when baby comes home.

The second goal is to keep dogs in their home! So many dogs are relinquished after a new baby comes home. Many of the frustrations leading up to relinquishment of a dog can be avoided through preparation and education.

I hope anyone interested will visit the Dogs & Storks website for more info. Besides the 2-hour workshop, there are lots of helpful resources and ongoing support for expectant and new parents.
