Dogs in the Workplace

The state capital used to allow members to bring their dogs to work. Since their new remodel they are thinking of making a no pet allowed rule. Are you allowed to bring a pet to work? What are the pros and cons

I am a current graduate student and I am fortunate enough to be able to bring my gal to my internship with me. It is a small non-profit and I work in the administrative office. She brightens up everyone's mood in the office and is fine with quietly sitting next to me while I work.

A big reason I went into business for my self was so I could have my best bud with me. Whenever I leave him at home with this mom the office just feels lonely (even though there are 35 of us there). All dogs are welcome in our office as long as they don't distract or make others feel uncomfortable. Having dogs at work makes our office more comfortable and it also is a huge stress relief for everyone (nothing like loving from a dog to take your worries away).

My hubby spent time at Sunnyside Kaiser and they allowed us to keep Ruby, our Silky Terrier in his room with him during visiting hours and when I stayed overnight a few times.

You'll have to keep me informed of what you need and when.

Yes, I checked them out when you asked me to join the group. Although I'm not looking for another dog now, I look for placement.

Must be Chewy a male Silky/Llasa mix. He is a character...very busy boy. Anyway I was thrilled to see you are checking the dogs on the site :)

I'd also post on craigslist and check their lost and found listings and they also have a tracking system that can inform you of postings I think. Will think good thoughts.

There is a photo on there now that fits that description, but have no idea the sex. Great idea on lost and found posting.
