We had a very good meeting tonight. We decided to start writing for Neighborhood Notes on any dog topic of interest. The process is as follows:
Write your article, send it to me at andrea@pdxdog.com, tell me how you want to be credited and I will send it to NN for posting.

It was great to meet everyone and it was funny because none of us knew what the other one looked like! We found each other through our puzzled faces...

Hi Robyne,

Neighborhood Notes has been around for several years, but was only focused on one neighborhood. Now the site has been redesigned and is citywide in scope. Check it out out at www.neighborhoodnotes.com.

Hi! I love writing and am looking forward to some 'assignments'. Is this Neighborhood Notes a new thing? I'm not familiar with it.

I would also be interested in a group of writers interested in writing letters to the editor to various news sources on current canine issues. Do you think this forum will work for that as well?

Ready, Set, Go-
Let's put our creative hats on and sleuth the city for great "articles", newsy items, new stores, events, or whatever that you think should go on Neighborhood Notes which is launching a whole new site on Monday.

We get to "represent" the dog loving community in Portland, so I think we can do a lot. We can interview organizations, tell about new stores, "happenings", newsy things that readers will be interested in hearing about.

It can be serious, fun and inventive. Send it to me, let me know how you want to be recognized and I'll put it up.

We can brainstorm like Christine says anytime on this page. Or we can all get together. Whatever works. Thanks so much!
