Andrea suggested I share this recipe in case some people haven't tried it, and to be quite honest, it's perfect for the weather we've been having -- plus your dogs will LOVE you for it!!! The recipe is all over the internet; I'm not sure who came up with it originally - just google 'Homemade Frosty Paws' - but here it is anyway:
Homemade Doggy Ice Cream
You will need:
2 ripe bananas
2 tablespoons peanut butter
2 tablespoons honey
and a 32-oz container of vanilla yogurt.
Mix together, divide into small containers (the disposable plastic ones work wonders) and freeze.
Result: happy dogs!!
We made them for Daisy's birthday a few weeks ago and you can see how my two were just going nuts for it!!
